The Inner Circle
The inner circle stands for the never-ending process of educating the masses.
The Big S
The big “S” within the circle means service—a sincere commitment of our founder to humanity.
The Square within the S
The tiny, square-shaped symbol within the big “S” represents the slide rule—a must-have device for every technologian.
The Roof above the S
The tripod-like roof above the “S” symbolizes all aspects of educational development—the core of which is the construction-oriented exposure of students to love work and to value the dignity of labor as part of their training.
The Sturdy Columns
SCSIT offers Education, Engineering, basic Technology, and Engineering Review. Our seal strongly manifests these subjects in the sturdy castle-shaped columns, whose foundations have withstood all the challenges of the time.
The Lamp
With all its glow and brilliance, the lamp symbolizes Education—the light of our lives. It is our inspiration. Its rays radiate and reach out to all those who grope in the dark. And then—1983—when the doors of SIT were thrown open to the arena of educational commitment. This was the year when 211 eager and excited pioneers blazed the skies for brighter horizons.
Blue and White
The blue symbols against a white background create a beautiful combination representing loyalty and purity. At SCSIT, we are committed to serving the community with the highest standard of education and training. We have designed our programs in accordance with the aims and objectives of the aspirations of the youth and of the Commission on Higher Education.
Our Goals
To organize, establish, maintain, and conduct a progressive institution of learning of high academic standing (under ISO Standards) which will emphasize academic, professional, and cultural development, moral character, and scientific research; and to this end, to operate the SCSIT graduate courses as well as the vocational, scientific, technological, and artistic courses in accordance with up-to-date and modern educational theories and methods, as well as the latest in tools, equipment, and skills.
To promote and develop professional growth towards attaining the highest standards of the profession attained by the institution’s graduates.
